Sashi Tharoor Raps Air India for Charging Rs 35,000 for Delhi-Kerala Flight

Congress leader Sashi Tharoor took to the micro-blogging site Twitter criticizing the hefty ticket price charged by Air India for travelling Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram.

The fare quoted in the ticket was a whopping Rs 34,853. “Economy fare of Rs 35,000 from Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram. Stop this disgraceful exploitation by a public airline!,” Mr Tharoor tweeting along with a picture of the flight ticket.

Soon, people started sharing their stories regarding inflated flight prices. Other airlines managed to get into twitter conversation, when people started to refer their services to the Congress politician.
