BAREILLY: A man today attacked his wife and chopped off her fingers over family dispute in Kapurpur village here, police said.
One Omendra Singh attacked his wife Rani (30) and chopped off fingers of her both hands over some dispute in the family in Meerganj area, Superintendent of Police (Rural), V K Srivastava said.
The woman was rushed to a hospital, where her condition was stated to be stable.
The accused Omendra has been arrested and booked under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC, the SP said.
