MATHURA: 'Chappan bhog', a lavish feast comprising 56 dishes, was organised on the outskirt of Goverdhan town here in memory of martyrs of Kargil and other wars.
Bal Yogeshwar Maharaj, a saint at the Hanuman Temple Badrinath Dham organised the feast. "We have organised 'chappan bhog' consists of 156 tons of fruit. 'Chappan' (56) variety of fruits from India and abroad were served," he said. Thousands of devotees took part in the programme.
