17 injured as boiler explodes at pharma firm in Nagpur

NAGPUR:  Seventeen workers were injured, nine of them seriously, when a boiler exploded in a private
pharmaceutical company in Wanjri on the outskirts of the city tonight, police said.

Most of the injured people sustained serious burn injuries due to the blast and were rushed to nearby hospitals, including state-run Mayo hospital, they said.

There were no immediate reports of any casualty in the incident.
