Bizarre! Man Kills Girl After Taking Selfie

Taking bizarre selfies has become a trend among the youth nowdays, this time, two youngsters took a selfie and suddenly the guy kills the girl.

27-year-old Ashish Kumar and his married friend Gurpreet Kaur (30) had been to a tea estate in Prem Nagar, where they clicked the selfie before Kumar began strangling his friend with a cloth. As the attempt went futile he slit her throat twice with a sharp-edged weapon.

The locals rushed to the crime scene on hearing the cries of Gurpreet, however the accused fled the place by then.

It appeared that the two were in a relationship and the accused did not like the girl being friends with other people too.

Kumar had allegedly planned this murder prior and he had also texted some of his friends hinting that he had eliminated her following which he posted his Whatsapp status of the same.

During the enquiry conducted by the police, the victim's husband Gurjeet Singh revealed that the couple had been living in the Ashish Kumar's house as tenants and Kumar had taken Rs 2 Lakh from the couple, which he was reluctant to return.

He even threatened the couple in few instances, fearing which the couple had shifted to a house in Rest Camp area of Dehradun.

Cops also found the vehicle in which they had travelled to reach the tea estate where the shocking incident took place and now are in search of the accused.
