NEW DELHI: Political advisor to the Congress party President Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel, met farmers from Tamil Nadu at Jantar Mantar.
Senior party leader Patel assured his support to the farmers in their demands. Farmers who have been protesting in Delhi for the last 40 days have adopted a series of different kinds of protests. Like biting chunks of pork meat, acting like animals and among other such tactic to grab attention from the public in order to derive a response from the central government in view of their demands of interlinking of rivers.
But till have failed to do so, meanwhile leaders from Aam Aadmi Party Panjab unit also came to the protest site to show solidarity with the farmers.
