LUCKNOW: Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav today struck a musical note to mock JD(U) president Nitish Kumar for again allying with the BJP to become chief minister.

"Na na karte pyar tumhi se kar baithe, karna tha inkar magar ikrar tumhi se kar baithe. Bihar today," Akhilesh said in a tweet.

The song is from the 1965 Bollywood film Jab Jab Phool Khile.

Nitish resigned yesterday as Bihar chief minister, but in a stunning move, joined hands with friend-turned-foe-turned- friend BJP.

The two parties were allies for 17 years until 2013, when Kumar walked out of the NDA fold after Narendra Modi was made the BJP's campaign committee chairman for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. Modi was later declared the prime ministerial candidate.

Nitish was sworn in as chief minister today with Sushil Kumar Modi taking oath as his deputy.
