PULWAMA: Unknown militants fired upon a joint post of police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) near Pulwama on Thursday night.
Around three to four rounds were burst upon 182 Battalion, to which the security forces retaliated immediately.
No casualties or injuries have been reported.
Troops of 182 Bn and Search Operation Group (SOG) launched search operations.
