BHUBANESWAR: The CBI on Friday quizzed BJP leader Sashi Kumar Sahoo for his alleged links to scam-tainted Artha Tatwa (AT) Group. The Central agency also issued fresh notices to Balasore MP Rabindra Jena and Laxmi Bilasini Biswal, wife of Cuttack-Choudwar MLA Prabhat Biswal, to appear in person at the CBI office here.
Sahoo, a State executive member of the BJP, was a party candidate from Simulia segment in 2014 Assembly elections. He was questioned by the sleuths for his links with a hotel owner who was involved in a land deal with AT Group chief Pradip Sethy.
Sahoo has been grilled by the CBI three times in the past. Jena and Biswal have been summoned by the Central agency in connection with the multi-hundred crore scam of Seashore Group.
