BHUBANESWAR:   Launching a crackdown on eviction of unauthorised encroachments on government road and drainage, the civic and development authorities on Monday demolished about 110 ft boundary wall and gates of houses of certain residents at Behera Sahi in Nayapalli area here. An AC shed house, one iron gate along with the boundary wall over drain were demolished. 

A 100 metre digging work was also completed for drainage project in the area, said BDA liaison office Subhransu Sekhar Mohanty. Police force was deployed at site to maintain law and order during the demolition drive.
