PARLAKHEMUNDI: Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram and Finance Minister Sashi Bhushan Behera on Monday visited Titli affected areas of Gajapati district to take stock of the situation.
Accompanied by BJP leaders, Oram visited 11 tribal-dominated villages in R Udayagiri and Gosani blocks and interacted with the victims. He criticised the State Government for its failure to tackle pre and post-Cyclone Titli situation.
Speaking to mediapersons, Behera said the State Government has been giving special attention to Gajapati district and all relief and restoration works have been carried out in a time-bound manner. Already `250 crores have been provided to the district excluding expenditures incurred by the line departments.
