Jamshedpur, Dec 7 (PTI) An encounter took placebetween security forces and ultras belonging to PeopleÂ’sLiberation Front of India (PLFI) at Tarobora village in WestSinghbhum district but there was no report of any casualty,police said today.
The security forces personnel comprising - CRPF anddistrict armed police - were on their routine long-rangepatrolling in extremist-hit area of the district when theultras opened fire on them yesterday, the police said.
Around 30 to 35 rounds were fired by the securityforces in retaliation, forcing the PLFI ultras to make a hastyretreat, Superintendent of Police, Anish Gupta said.
Some mobile phones and sim cards were recovered fromthe spot, the police said. PTI BSRG.
