Chennai, Dec 9 (PTI): ICT Academy in association withsoftware provider Autodesk will conduct a two day event 'IndiaDesign Week 2017' for engineering students in Tamil Nadu andPuducherry, starting here on December 11.
The India Design Week 2017 gives an opportunity forbudding designers to learn, explore, innovate and designproducts in areas including environment, disaster relief,energy, food and well being, ICT Academy said in a release.
Students of mechanical, aeronautical, automobile andmechatronics engineering departments of colleges from TamilNadu and Puducherry can enroll in the programme, scheduled tobe held here on December 11 and 12.
Nearly 1,000 students from 30 colleges are expected totake part in the event.
"This initiative is part of our efforts to enable thestudents, the future generation of engineers to create productdesigns... We are very excited to have Autodesk as our partnerfor this initiative", ICT Academy, CEO, M Sivakumar said.
"We believe this design event will not only help thestudents to acquire new skills and insights but also inspirethem towards creating a better future", he said.
