Honolulu (US), Dec 11 (AP) Maui fire officials say twopeople have died in a plane crash on Molokai, a Hawaiianisland located between Oahu and Maui.
Hawaii News Now reports that the plane crashed today.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzersays the plane crashed due to "unknown circumstances" while onits way to the Molokai Airport.
Kentizer says at least two people were aboard the planewhen it crashed about 6 kilometres west of the airport.
Officials were notified by the Molokai air trafficcontrol tower that communication with the plane was lost.
The Maui Fire Department, Federal Aviation Administrationand National Transportation Safety Board are investigating thecrash. (AP)CK.
