Soybean futures marginally up on overseas cues

New Delhi, Dec 15 (PTI) Soybean prices were up by Rs 9 toRs 3,086 per quintal in futures trade today followingenlarging of bets in line with firming trend overseas.

Marketmen said raising of bets by participants, takingpositive leads from global markets, led to the rise in soybeanprices in futures trade here.

Besides, pick up in demand at the physical marketsinfluenced sentiments.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchangecounter, soybean to be delivered in February moved up by Rs 9or 0.29 per cent to Rs 3,086 per quintal, in an open interestof 86,910 lots.

The delivery of the most traded January also edged up byRs 4 or 0.13 per cent to Rs 3,030 per quintal, with thebusiness turnover of 86,910 open lots. PTI SDG SUN ADIBAL.
