Jammu, Nov 15 (PTI) Two suspected drug peddlers werearrested separately and cannabis, heroin and poppy wererecovered from their possession in Jammu and Doda districts ofJammu and Kashmir, police said today.
Acting on a specific information, police last eveningapprehended a person in RS Pura border belt of Jammu andrecovered one kg of poppy, one gram of heroin and 8 insulinsyringes from his possession, they said.
In another incident, police during a routine nakachecking at Bhalla area of Doda district, caught Asif Ahmed,who was carrying 700 grams cannabis.
According to police, cases have been registered againstboth the accused at RS Pura and Bhaderwah police stationsrespectively. PTI AB MGDIP.
