New Delhi, Nov 22 (PTI) Philippines-based LBC Express hassigned a multi-million dollar repeat order with enterprisesoftware provider Ramco Systems to unify and automate itslogistics and supply chain operations across global branches.
"LBC Express chose Ramco's Logistics Suite over globalproviders for its nimble, streamlined cloud offerings," apress statement said today.
On top of HR and Payroll functions, Ramco's mobileplatform includes modules for freight-forwarding, courierplanning, rating and billing, as well as end-to-end warehouse,fleet and supply chain management. It comes equipped withchatbots and advanced analytics capabilities to improvecompany-wide visibility and hub management.
"Logistics operations is the lifeline of our business.
The decision to replace our existing systems with a new-agelogistics suite is aimed at gaining complete visibility ofoperations to arrest revenue leakage and improveproductivity," LBC Express CEO Mike Camahort said in thestatement.
Ramco Group Chairman P R Venketrama Raja said that thePhilippines is a highly promising market and is adoptingnext-generation enterprise technology at a rapid rate.
