New York, Oct 13 (AP) The New York Police Department isasking for help identifying a man who passed himself off as amessenger and stole $58,000 worth of iPhones from an Applestore.
The unidentified man walked into a Manhattan store onThursday and told an employee he was a messenger there for apick-up. The NYPD says the employee gave the man three boxeswith approximately $58,000 worth of iPhone 7s.
The man then fled in a white Ford van with unknownlicense plates.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect todayand asked the public for help in identifying the man.(AP)AMS.
