Karimnagar, Oct 14 (PTI) Telangana Police havearrested seven persons belonging to two different gangs andseized Rs 2.60 lakh of banned currency from them, a seniorofficial said.

Rajanna Sircilla District Police SuperintendentVishwajith Kampati, said, Veerapaneni Rajesh (47), KasulaPradeep (35) and Mangalpalli Krishna (43) of Hyderabad werearrested by the task force police and Rs 1 lakh bannedcurrency was seized from them at Jillella cross roads underTangallapalli police station limits.

In another incident, Addepalli Janardhan Rao (40),Kiran Izhar (47), Raavi Uma Shankar (54) of Hyderabad and GudiTejo Ravikumar (42) of Chittoor were arrested and Rs 1.60 lakhbanned currency was seized from them besides a car and mobilephones at Gollapalli under Yellareddypet police limits.

The accused have been sent to judicial remand, the SPadded. PTI CORRMT.
