Coimbatore, Oct 14 (PTI) A court today sentenced a manto life imprisonment for killing his wife here two years ago.
The prosecution said 34-year-old Hashim, a watch repairerby profession, had strangled his wife under the influence ofliquor on July 20, 2015 at Kuniyauthur.
The couple used to quarrel frequently over his drinkinghabit and irregular work.
Hashim was absconding after the incident and was arrestedlater based on the statement of his six-year-old daughter whowitnessed it.
