Sitamarhi (Bihar), Oct 22 (PTI) Two children drownedin a pond at Gosainpur village in Sitamarhi district today,police said.
The incident happened under Dumra police station areawhen they had gone there to make a Chhath puja ghat, thepolice said.
The two slipped and fell into deep waters whilepreparing the ghat at the pond, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer(SDO) Satyendra Prasad said.
The deceased were identified as Rakesh Kumar (11) andDipali Kumari (08), the SDO said. PTI COR ARSBN.
