Phagwara, Jan 14 (PTI) A 62-year-old man died while hiswife sustained injuries after their scooter was hit by a buson Phagwara-Mehli bypass near Palahi village here, a policeofficer said today.
The deceased was identified as Vishawnath Singh, aresident of nearby Chak Hakeem village, the police officersaid.
His wife Sundar Devi was rushed to a nearby hospital, hesaid.
A case was registered for causing death by negligenceagainst the unidentified bus driver after the accidentyesterday, he said. PTI CORR SUNSNE.
