KOLKATA: Prayag United moved into the 33rd Federation Cup football tournament semi-finals with a 2-0 victory over Sporting Clube De Goa here Thursday.

Denson Devadas drew first blood as early as in the fifth minute before Josimar Dasilva Martins doubled the lead in the 83rd minute.

Prayag wrapped up their Group D engagement with seven points from three games, while Mohammedan Sporting finished one point adrift.

Playing with a resolve and purpose at the Salt Lake stadium, Prayag started dominating from the initial minutes, as Sporting's famed rivals looked jittery.
