Dilip Triumphs
Dilip Kumar of TNBSA defeated Nadeem Ahmed of Gymkhana in the final of the TNBSA 6-Red state ranking snooker tournament. Dilip took the first frame comfortably, whereas the next three frames were dominated by Nadeem. Dilip was trailing 1-3 from where he took 5 frames in a row to bag the crown.

Hockey Camp
The fifth edition of the Tamil Nadu Hockey Academy free summer coaching camp for U-14 boys and girls from various schools in the city was launched on Monday at the YMCA College of physical education grounds by PJ Sukumaran, Sports Director, Anna University.
Former state player Anbarasu and international coach Alexander are in charge of the camp. Former Olympians Charles Cornelius and VJ Philips will be visiting the camp.
