Yuki Bhambri recorded his second ATP Challenger title of the season after triumphing at the Traralgon event in Australia.

The Indian youngster defeated top seed Bradley Klahn 6-7(13) 6-3 6-4 in a match played on two days due to rain delays.

Yuki was up 6-7(13) 6-3 4-2 against Klahn in the title clash when rain halted play Saturday.

Earlier, Yuki reached the singles semifinals with an upset win over second seed James Duckworth who is ranked 138 in the world. Yuki beat the Australian 6-2 6-4.

Earlier, the eighth-seeded Yuki pipped fourth seed Japanese Tatsuma Ito 6-4 1-6 7-5 in the quarterfinal, which lasted one hour and 46 minutes.

The 277-ranked Yuki avenged his last year's defeat in Kyoto against the higher-ranked Japanese, who is 105 places above the Indian in the ranking chart.
