Sania Mirza and Cara Black stormed into the semifinals of China Open with an easy 6-4 6-1 victory over Chinese Taipei's Yung Jan-Chang and China's Zheng Jie today.
The victory was also the eighth-seeded Indo-Zimbabwean duo's seventh in-a-row. The match lasted for just over an hour.
They started their China Open campaign with a 6-3 6-3 win over Kimiko Date-Krumm and Chanelle Scheepers.
Mirza and Black brushed aside Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova and Lucie Safarova 6-3 6-2 in just an hour and eight minutes in the pre-quarterfinals.
They are likely to meet top seeds Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci for a final berth.
Earlier on Saturday, the pair clinched their first title together after teaming up for the first time at the Toray Pan Pacific Open.
