Angelo Mathews (54) and Dilruwan Perera (6) will resume Sri Lanka's first innings tomorrow. India began the day at a solid 399 for three but could add only 201 runs to their overnight total.

Ajinkya Rahane (57) and Hardik Pandya (50) scored half-centuries for the visitors.
