LONDON: Former England and Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paul Robinson has announced his retirement from football at the age of 37, according to media reports Monday.

Robinson, who was out of contract after spending the last 18 months with Premier League side Burnley, gained 41 international caps and played in all five England matches on their run to the 2006 World Cup quarter-finals.
