PANAMA CITY: Spain and Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal wound up his visit to Panama by joining aspiring football players for practice at a facility in this capital's affluent Costa del Este neighbourhood.

The player closely followed the training routine of the participants on Friday, for whom sharing the field with a top professional like the Spanish international was nothing short of a dream come true, reports EFE news agency.

In every moment Carvajal, accompanied by former Panamanian national coaches Gustavo Avila and Juan Carlos Cubillas, gave instructions to the youngsters, who followed them to the letter.

The delight of the kids was obvious - many saw him as the idol they watch on television, but now they had him right there in front of them, teaching them something they all love: soccer.

Carvajal, who arrived in the Central American country on Thursday, first shared his experiences as a football star and an individual with a group of more than 50 fans in a high-end shopping mall.
