Sassuolo have appointed Roberto De Zerbi as coach on a two-year contract to replace Giuseppe Iachini, the Italian Serie A club said on Wednesday.
The club, which finished the season 11th in the table, sacked Iachini earlier this month.
The 39-year-old coach had a brief stint in the 2016-2017 season at Palermo, who employed five different coaches that season and were relegated from Serie A.
De Zerbi also coached Benevento last season in their one-year spell in the Italian top flight.
