CHENNAI: Top seed Shekar Veeraswamy of Karnataka eased into the men’s singles semifinals after beating Suresh Kumar of Tamil Nadu 6-1, 6-0 in the Marina Open AITA Ranking wheelchair tennis tournament here at the SDAT tennis stadium. Anand Selvaraj of Tamil Nadu showed great determination to fight back after losing the first set and overcome eighth seed K Gopinath of Karnataka 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
