PARIS: Austrian sixth seed Dominic Thiem reached the French Open quarter-finals for a second successive year with a 6-1, 6-3, 6-1 win over Horacio Zeballos of Argentina.

Thiem will face either defending champion Novak Djokovic or Spain's Albert Ramos-Vinolas for a place in the semi-finals.
