Novak Djokovic reinforces top place in ATP rankings

The Serb has 12,115 points ranking first, followed by Spain's Rafael Nadal (7,945) and Roger Federer of Switzerland (5,770), reports Xinhua news agency.

MADRID: Novak Djokovic consolidated his lead in the latest men's tennis rankings of the ATP after he won the Madrid Open on Sunday.

The Serb has 12,115 points ranking first, followed by Spain's Rafael Nadal (7,945) and Roger Federer of Switzerland (5,770), reports Xinhua news agency.

Madrid Open semi-finalist Dominic Thiem of Austria rose to fourth place, and Madrid Open finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas from Greece went up from ninth to seventh.
