HYDERABAD: The High Court today dismissed a quash petition filed by former secretary of Andhra Cricket Association V Chamundeswarinath who is facing charges of sexually harassing women cricketers.

While dismissing the petition, Justice G Bhavani Prasad remarked that the sections mentioned in the FIR were bailable and the petitioner may obtain bail from the police concerned.

A case was registered in Vijayawada and the State Government had appointed Additional DGP (recruitment) to probe the allegations.

In his report submitted recently, the probe official said that found the allegations against Chamundi to be true.
