HYDERABAD: The Praja Rajyam has entered into an electoral alliance with Mana Party headed by Kasani Gnaneswar.

Party general secretary Allu Aravind and Gnaneswar announced the alliance in a media conference at the PRP office. According to the agreement between the two parties, Mana Party would contest from Chevella Parliamentary constituency besides a few Assembly segments.

The details of the Assembly constituencies allotted to the Mana Party would be revealed later. Allu Aravind said that both parties were champions of social justice and were natural friends. However, the conspicuous absence of party vice president Devendar Goud at the event raised many an eye brow in the party circles. According to party sources, he was averse to the alliance with the Mana Party.
