HYDERABAD: The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has decided to expose the inconsistencies in the Justice BN  Srikrishna Committee report by placing it in the People’s Court.

TRS leader and member of the TJAC Dr S Sravan said today at the Telangana Bhavan that after receiving the people’s responses, the report would be submitted to the President of India, the Prime Minister and the Union Home Ministry. After exposing the drawbacks in the report, they would put forth their argument to carve out a separate Telangana state without taking the report into consideration.

The TJAC leadership was of the opinion that with a pre-drawn conclusion and a view of continuing the integrated Andhra Pradesh state, the committee had just focussed on maintaining the law and order situation in the state while preparing the report.

The committee could not study all angles regarding the development in the Telangana region as they had prepared the report by only considering the reports submitted by the government PROs, they felt.  To bring out these flaws, the TJAC has constituted a sub committee which would complete its assignment in the coming few days.  “We found several mistakes in Irrigation, Power and other welfare sectors. Surprisingly, the report says that TRS is not a constituent of the JAC,”  Dr Sravan pointed out.

Meanwhile, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has said that if the TDP, the party main opposition in the Assembly, has any guts, they should introduce a no confidence motion against the chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy.

Dr Sravan strongly criticised TDP leader and former Home Minister T Devendar Goud’s comments that the Congress and TRS were having a secret alliance in the state.
