HYDERABAD: Continuing the exercise of reshuffling the IAS officers, the state government on Wednesday gave new postings to eight officers. Senior IAS officer AK Parida has been appointed as the principal secretary for Rain Shadow Area Development department relieving Poonam Malakondaiah from the full additional charge of the post.

CR Biswal, who worked as principal secretary for higher education, has been posted as the principal secretary for industries and commerce replacing JC Sharma who has been transferred and appointed as the chairman of the Godavari Valley Development Authority. Former commissioner of excise and prohibition VKG Agarwal has been appointed as special commissioner (Appeals) in the office of the chief commissioner of land administration.

Ranjeev R Acharya has been appointed as principal secretary for finance replacing LV Subramanyam, who has been appointed as the TTD executive officer.

Meanwhile, Neelam Sawhney, who is waiting for posting on repatriation from Central deputation, has been appointed as the vice-chairman and managing director of the AP Industrial Development Corporation. Vasudha Mishra is posted as the special commissioner of commercial taxes.
