VIJAYAWADA: In a surprise development, Telugu Desam’s Vijayawada Urban president Vallabhaneni Vamsimohan met YSR Congress Party chief and Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy here on Friday when the latter was going in a procession to attend a meeting where former MLA Vangaveeti Radhakrishna was to join the YSR Congress.
Vamsimohan, a friend of Radhakrishna, was waiting at Myneni Tea Stall and as the procession reached Niramala Convent Centre, near Benz Circle, went up to Jagan and hugged him. They talked for a couple of minutes.
Though it appeared to be a coincidence, it is viewed as a strategic move by Vamsi.
