‘TDP sticks to letter sent to Pranab panel’

Telugu Desam Paty president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said that his party was still committed to the contents of the letter written to Pranab Mukherjee Committee in 2008 in favour of Telangana state.

Speaking at impromptu meetings while on his padayatra in Karimnagar district, Naidu said that had shared the feelings of the people of the region that they should protect their self-respect. “I am with you. I will ensure justice is done to you. TDP is not against Telangana,” he said.

Naidu, who resumed his padayatra at Gangaram after conferring with leaders of Seemandhra region to finalise party’s stand to be announced at the all-party meeting to be held on T issue at Delhi on December 28, traversed through Ushannapalli, Peddampeta and Laxmipur.
