TIRUMALA: A temple will be built for Vaishnava Saint Sri Anantalwar as tribute to his dedication to Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala JEO, K S Srinivasa Raju has stated.

Addressing the occasion of 958th Avatarotsavam of Sri Anantalwar after unveiling statue of Anantalwar on Sunday in Purusaivari Thota located in Alwar Tank Gardens area at Tirumala, the JEO said that Vaishnavaite saint, Ananthalwar introduced Pushpa Kainkaryams in temple of Lord Venkateswara.

“He had systemised kainkaryam in a disciplined way that even to this day, we have been following it.

He dedicated his entire life in the service of the Lord.

We will develop Alwar gardens on aesthetic lines.

As a tribute to this great soul, TTD will construct a temple for Anantalwar in Tirumala,” the JEO explained.
