Telangana Non-GazettedOfficers (TNGO) association former president and Telangana activist K SwamiGoud joined the TRS in the presence of its chief K Chandrasekhar Rao at TelanganaBhavan here on Friday.
Goud retired from service a few months ago. The TRSchief declared Swami Goud as the MLC candidate for the North Telangana DistrictsGraduates’ Constituency currently being represented by TRS MLC Naradasu LaxmanRao. Laxman Rao is due to retire soon. Goud has also been made a member of the TRSpolitburo, the party’s highest decision making body.
The TRS chief urged allthe party leaders and cadre to concentrate on winning the coming elections. Hepraised Swami Goud’s role in the Telangana movement and assured him of a brightpolitical future in the party.
