CoP-11 to witness Gussadi

The Adivasis’ cultural team in Adilabad district won a rare opportunity to perform Gussadi dance at the ongoing 11th Conference of the Parties (CoP- 11) in Hyderabad, said tribal leaders on Friday.

The international biological diversity meet is witnessing participation of delegates from about 193 countries across the globe.

The Gussadi team members - Meshram Isru, Kumra Eshwara Bai, K Krishna and Vykuntham said they received the invite over phone from Andhra Pradesh cultural department director RV Prasad Raj.

Performance is scheduled for October 16 when the Prime Minister will take part in CoP-11.
