Express News Service

Major irrigation minister Peddi Sudarshan Reddy said that the Pulichintala project would be completed by June 2013.

Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he said that the contracting company owner Krishnaiah had assured the government of completing the project within the stipulated time. Earlier, the irrigation department had served a notice to the company, Krishna and Co, for the inordinate delay in completing the project and was contemplating changing the contractor.

However, the major irrigation minister said that he trusted the assurance given by Krishnaiah and wanted the present contracting firm to finish the work on time.

He said that Sripada Yellampalli project phase-1 too would be completed by June.
