Traffic curbs in city for Manmohan’s visit

Following the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to the city on October 16, the Cyberabad police imposed traffic diversions in various places in Cyberabad.

The Cyberabad police commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said that as part of the transportation plan during the VIPs and VVIPs movement to the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Madhapur where the International Biodiversity Conference is being held, the police imposed traffic restrictions and diversions in various place.

The vehicle users are requested to take a note of the diversions and restrain from commuting on the routes and co-operate with the traffic police on October 16 from 2.45 pm to 5 pm.

The road from Hitex to NAC main gate is exclusively earmarked for VVIP route. As such the residents of Ijjath Nagar, likely to go towards Khanamet, Kothaguda, may use the road from Hitech Railway Station to Cyber Towers road, and also the residents of Khanamet village, Aparna colony, likely to go towards Khanamet junction, Hitech railway station, may use the road from Aparna junction, Kondapur road.

Traffic from Mehidipatnam, Dargah etc., going towards Gachibowli, ICICI, Microsoft, Wipro and etc, are requested to take left turn at Khajaguda junction for Wipro junction.

Traffic from Gachibowli, ICICI, Microsoft, Wipro and etc, going towards Mehidipatnam, Dargah etc to take left turn at Wipro junction for Khajaguda junction.
