AP: Two die after consuming hooch

Two persons died after allegedly consuming spurious liquor in Pedana town of Krishna district, police said today.

The incident happened last night when some labourers along with their neighbours consumed hooch following which two of them became unconscious.

While S Venkateswara Rao (45) died on the spot, P Nancharaiah (30) died on way to hospital, police said.

A case has been registered while an investigation is on, police added.
