The Karimnagar police have announced rewards for the capture of the top leadership of the CPI (Maoist) Central Committee, including its chief Muppala Lakshman Rao alias Ganapathi. Superintendent of police V Ravinder and officer on special duty (OSD) L Subbarayudu on Thursday released a poster of the Maoists with the bounty declared on it.
A reward of Rs 25 lakh has been set for the head of CPI (Maoist) Maoist Central Committee secretary Muppalla Lakshman Rao alias Ganapati, committee members Kadari Satyanarayana Reddy alias Sadu, Malla Raji Reddy alias Sattenna, Mallojjula Venugopal Rao alias Prahlad, Pulluri Prasada Rao alias Chandranna and Tippari Tirupati alias Sanjeev.
