The three-day annual festival of Salakatla Pavithrotsavams concluded on a religious note at Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple here, with Pavithra Purnahuti being performed at Yagashala on Sunday evening.
Pavithras, the garlands made from special thread, were taken in a procession and used to decorate Sri Kapileswara Swamy, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru, Sri Vigneswara Swamy, Sri Subramanyam Swamy, Sri Chandikesavaswamy. TTD EO MG Gopal, temple deputy executive officer Reddamma, superintendent Munisuresh Reddy, temple inspector K Srinivasulu and large number of devotees took part in the programme.
