Is industrialist Galla Jayadev, son of minister Galla Aruna Kumari, moving towards the TDP for his political arangetram in 2014 general elections? Indications suggest he could be TDP candidate from the Guntur Lok Sabha constituency.

Sources told Express his discussions with the TDP leadership are at an advanced stage. But a final call is yet to be taken. Guntur is currently represented by Congress MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao, who had hinted at his exit from the party only to retract the same. Former MP Bala Showri is expected to be the nominee of YSR Congress for the Guntur Lok Sabha seat.

Though Jayadev hails from Chittoor district, he is married to Padmavathi, daughter of actor Krishna, a native of Tenali in Guntur district. Jayadev’s grandfather was also from Guntur district.  continued: P6
