The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) has submitted a note with suggestions on state’s bifurcation to the Group of Ministers constituted by the central government to look into the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.

TJAC chairman M Kodandaram mailed the 135-page note to the GoM on Friday night. It contained TJAC’s views on various aspects of the 11 issues mentioned by the GoM, except the issue relating to Seemandhra capital.

Speaking to Express, Kodandaram said they wanted the powers to create an efficient state that had equity and inclusive growth as its twin objectives and which ensured a greater accountability in implementation of developmental programmes.
