The state government has sanctioned 47 new posts for the Anti-Corruption Bureau. The proposal was cleared at the recent cabinet meeting.
Among the 47, four posts are that of joint directors (SP rank officers), 14 posts of DSPs, 20 Inspectors, six law officers, one post each of deputy executive engineer and assistant executive engineer among others.
The present strength of the watchdog agency is 690.
